A Study of What White Peope Wear and How They Dress in the DC Area

I wrote this about a month ago - but I was too lazy to post on here

Disclaimer - the majority of the people I observed were approx. around the age of 35+ along with the fact that these ‘studies’ are generalized for the sake of humor…

• Goal: Comfort
• Dress either too cold or too hot for the current temperature
• Matching color schemes are NOT a factor

Clothing________________________________________________

• The stylish ones are very sharp and professional - like they spent a whole paycheck on one outfit
• Others look like they go to the same stores yet they purchased everything blindfolded
• Casual clothing - Khakis/Grey Slacks/Faded Sweatpants…that are two sizes too small (Damn)
• They think vests (with no suit) look cool
• Form-fitting clothes, occasionally really loose baggy shirts and jackets
• Sidenote - saw a nigga with an ascot
• They like scarves - even when it isn’t cold…

Footwear________________________________________________

• Dress/Casual Shoes
• Cross-Training Shoes are very popular
• Tennis Shoes - Old beat-up white shoes with multiple scuffs and creases
• Strap-on Sandals (Ugh!)
• Although this isn’t as popular any more….Crocs

Headwear_______________________________________________

• Form-Fitting Baseball Caps - The type of hats that have brims folded in half
• If they have long hair - ponytail, If the hat has a part where there’s an opening…they tend to put their hair through it.
• Sometimes - Berets (I like those even though I don’t own any - props)

Wow.  I mean, people can do whatever they want, but wow.  She was pretty before the surgeries.  Wow.  I feel so sorry for her.

I immediately had to to google this because … wow, there’s so much happening here. Everything I’m reading just makes my heart hurt even more for this woman. Lighter skin and changed facial features did not make her happier - in fact, she attempted suicide not long after this was published. Really though, my heart. I hope she finds peace.

Exactly. Whole nations of people bathing in skin lightening creams because they don’t feel attractive or attempting to attain the eurocentric beauty of some media starlett….The chosen light skinned queen of the era.

Kids picking on others for big noses and lips. Being dark or having kinky hair… This kind of bullying just doesn’t spontaneously generate.
